finishing up the trees I began. I had been following Jude at Spiritcloth.

spiritcloth.typepad.com

Her “gnome-like” tree is absolutely magical and the other tree hugging it

was heart warming.

I think a hug is a “gift” of love freely given…nice <3

I have decided to make my velvet tree an “angel tree”…I like that!

this picture is for you Becky, I know you like to see the whole piece : )

I have been making ATC cards just for the fun of it.

the top piece of the deer card is made from a brown paper bag.

I simply drew the deer and added stitching from left-over thread.

another ATC card. No deep meaning here, just playing with things I had on hand.

Lastly, spending time with the girls before daughter #2’s Jazz band Christmas concert.

Fun! : )

Oh, all of you have such lovely eyes and complexions – what a great photo! I like the tree hugging the other and the pretty turquoise halo. Very festive!

      Awww…thank you! (blushing)
      : )
I am surprised how the picture turned out because I was so tired
after a long day of working. (the photograph gods were smiling on us! lol!)
Those trees are so easy and fun.
Trying to have a little holiday spirit here. : )

  2. Beautiful smiles of three lovely girls :) Love those cute little gnomes and the adorable hugging trees. This is great !

Thank you! We were having a little “camera fun” before
      daughter #2’s concert.
Those little gnomes are a Yankee Candle,
      candle holder…Very cheerful!

  3. Oh, I love that halo over the tree top! And the three “gnomes” in the last photo are beautiful! Marie, I finally got another post on. I guess if you let too much time go by, it gets harder and harder to get up the nerve to post again. I’m turning into an Emily Dickinson, sitting at the top of the stairs, unable to come down the steps! I will try to do better in the new year. I wish you and your precious family the very happiest of holidays. Love, Kari

      I am smiling…thank you.
I will dash over to your blog immediately! I have missed you Kari and please
don’t be “stuck” at the top of the stairs. Your words are always beautiful and
      inspiring <3
We wish you much love, joy, and peace this Holiday season….and we celebrate Christmas
so…Merry Christmas if you celebrate too <3

I love the angel tree! Gnomes make me feel that happy thing inside. You know what I mean?

    • ancientcloth says:

Thank you. I think a lot of trees are “angels” : )
