heart of steel…

a heart of steel…because sometimes you need one

to be strong….

strong enough to carry on and move through

the demands of  this world…

A wire fence for the background. Surrounding  the heart is “snow” fabric for

an “icy” cold feeling…

I will be joining this heart to other heart pieces….

Thank you! I was driving to work the other morning
and heard a song and was inspired. I like that gray
fabric I used for the heart. It is variegated softly
with different Hughes of gray. There is no pink in it…
the picture just turned out that way. Not sure why?

    Beautiful, just beautiful!

It was so much fun to have time
to create something. I have been sooo
busy. I liked putting all that gray together…
      a misunderstood color lol.
      Thank you : )

There is something about gray tones that I find soothing. The stitching on this is beautiful. I am sure you are loving the rare moments to find time to stitch these days.

    A wonderful piece!

Sometimes it is fun to take different shades of the
same color and work with them…definitely a challenge.
      Thank you <3

  5. This is very dramatic. I really like how you graduated the colors in the heart. The contrast between the dark and the light. Just really powerful!!!
