you won’t believe…

Well, before I show you what you won’t believe I thought I would

share with you what I have been working on today….

A “slow” cloth.

a spiral…

the fabric in the center reminds me of stepping stones…

I incorporated this cloth in with the new piece…

It was from this post:

how to slow down…

Now on to the part about what you want believe...

We all have routines and one of mine is to clean and put my coffee

press on paper towels on the counter at night to dry.

This morning as I was picking up the paper towel I had

to do a double take….I saw a moon face! Yep!

A moon face out of the coffee and water drips….

ok, I know it may not be that remarkable to you but, I thought it was kind of cool….

synchronicity…

    Those are so cool!

  2. mendofleur says:

Very cool. It is almost as if some little elf came into your kitchen at night and painted the face, it is so realistic.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I really like your “slow” project with all the different elements.

      Thank you so much!
The face on the paper towel was
pretty cool because I had been thinking
about the moon face I had made…I love
      synchronicity! : )

Hmm…the coffee moon. One that is worshiped by many. :)

  6. Yes, I am a worshipper of coffee moon, too ~ pretty amazing little face! Also, I loved your comment on my blog ~ such a sweet memory. I could just see you with that scarf. Thank you for taking the time to put that wonderful memory into words. I’ve been smiling ever since . . . xo Kari

I like that….”Coffee moon!” Maybe I will have to come up with a cloth
called that lol. I am a worshipper of the coffee moon too!
I have such a vivid memory of the story I shared and I know it was a crossroads
in my life and in that moment I was deciding something very
important…I know I was a child but, somehow I knew the
importance of my thoughts. Thank you <3

I think this coffee moon is absolutely delightful. It is right up there with the shroud of Turin, the face in the toast, and other miracles. As I was saying in my blog today, the signs are all around us, if we would just take notice. I can see that you, dear Ancient Cloth, are watching carefully, thus you have been rewarded with your very own good sign.
Oh, I just remembered, your coffee moon face reminds me of the moon print I made from a discarded Kombucha mushroom. Well, you can dye with coffee grounds, you know. You could try draining your coffee press on a piece of cloth instead of a paper towel, then you would have a fabric moon. Hmmm, why not?

      You have made me smile,
      I am laughing inside :)
      “signs” are all around us!
That is a great idea about putting fabric
      down for my coffee press!
      Thank you <3
