A quiet gift

I have missed my little corner…I hope to have the internet up and

running by next week but, until then a quick post…

I have a friend whom I wanted to make a special little gift.

I was inspired by this:

I used to make mixed media tin cans until my whole box of mixed media

was lost in a move. Anyhoo, I gathered a few goodies and made a very simple

traveling altar for my friend.

A tiny vellum picture of a little girl peers through the key hole.

I just used what papers I had on hand…

I stitched the word, “divine”.

The fabric pouch I made for the little tin….

the cloth before it became a pouch.

I hope all of you are well and I look forward to visiting soon…

Thank you! She was so touched!
She had given me some really beautiful music and I had
wanted to give her something special too!
      Thank you for the inspiration!
      : )

  2. That’s an adorable little pouch, each stitch a thought and inspiration.

It was a meditation for sure.
Thank you. My friend really appreciated the gift
and was surprised that I had put a lot of
      thought/time into it.
