I did buy myself some new socks but, I want to repair my old socks. I used

I have a darner egg (is that what it is called??) that looks just like yours. I see it every time I get down my sewing box. You are inspiring me to do more than just notice its existence. The socks we have thrown away! I really really should learn how to darn those darn socks instead! xo Kari
I just call it a “darner” or “sock darner”. I am not sure…maybe it is a darner egg?? Good question!
